A 5,600 square foot retirement home anticpates an eventual community of firends with similar homes on adjacent lots. The goal being to have assistance in old-age without having to move to assisted living complexes. The organization takes advantge of the fan shaped site to maximize views and privacy. The angled split of functions separates a guest house from the main living area providing definition to the outdoor rooms. A "green-wall" around the house will enhance the energy efficient qualities of the design.
